Christine Whone

Christine is a designer, digital strategist, tech instructor and business instructor specializing in business coaching for entrepreneurs, startups, freelancers, sole proprietors and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Christine has coached, mentored, and taught design, business, and web technology at college and university levels. 

For nearly 8 years, Christine ran a chapter of Canada Learning Code, hosting monthly tech education workshops for women and youth, including a week-long Girls Learning Code entrepreneurial summer camp, and a 7-week Ladies Learning Code digital skills boot camp.

Formerly, Christine is a mentor for the Startup Women program, run by Startup Canada.

Christine is a designer and owner of Actually, a full-service digital media and design company located in Barrie, Ontario, Canada.

Nearly 2 decades of professional experience as a designer and over 10 years running a business.

Christine has years of experience as a trusted partner for clients in graphic design, web design, digital marketing, and content production, utilizing strategic communication methods. She has over a decade of experience running a business as a sole owner and in a partnership.

I am an academically trained communicator in graphic design and web design fields, holding a diploma in graphic design, a post-graduate diploma in web design and development, a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, and most recently, a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Media, Film and Communications.

In addition, I have obtained a Teaching Adult Learners Online (TALO) certificate from The Chang School of Continuing Education at Toronto Metropolitan University.
